Carl Jones introduced Roger Smith to his friend as his ‘Uncle Roger’. Roger Smith introduced Carl Jones to his friend as his ‘Uncle Carl’. “If you are uncles to each other,” queried one of the friends, “you must also be nephews to each other.” “That’s correct,” replied Carl.
Since there has been no breach of marriage law, how can you explain such a relationship?
THINK THE ANSWER YOURSELF!!!

Two men, A and B marry each other’s mother. One son was born to each marriage, in this case, Carl Jones and Roger Smith. Carl’s father is A, and his half brother is B. Also, Roger’s father is B, and his half brother is A; therefore, Carl and Roger are both uncle and nephew to each other

If two hours ago, it was as long after one o’clock in the afternoon as it was before one o’clock in the morning, what time would it be now?
See the solution
Nine o’clock. Since there are twelve hours between the two times, and half of that time equals six, then the halfway mark would have to be seven o’clock. If it were seven o’clock, two hours ago, the time would now be nine o’clock
